OPI Bond Girls Swatches and Review...

I am so excited to be showing you the beautiful OPI Bond Girls collection today. I fell in love with textured polish the moment that I tried my first Liquid Sand and OPI continues to impress me with more gorgeous shades. This collection features six Liquid Sand lacquers and offers a lot of variety of colors from light to dark, pearly, glittery and metallic. A bit of everything in addition to the fun textured matte finish...

These all have very nice, easy to work with formulas that are opaque in 2 to 3 coats. They feel dry to the touch in approximately 10 minutes, but continue to dry beyond that for a while longer. I gave each one at least an hour before taking photos to ensure they were completely dry. The photos don't do these beauties as much justice as I wish they would. There is so much sparkle and "life" that the camera just can't capture. Removal of these takes longer than a cream or shimmer type polish, however, they are easier than some of the stubborn glitters. I didn't even have the urge to use the foil method, but it certainly would work...

Solitaire - "This diamond-sparkling white is totally engaging."
A textured matte pearly white with silver glitter plus a touch of black glitter peppered throughout. This makes me think of glistening snow. I truly swoon over this lovely lacquer. It took three easy coats to reach full opacity. Formula and application are great...

Pussy Galore - "This light feminine pink has the purrrfect amount of shimmer."
A textured matte pearly pink with pink glitter. I have to admit the name makes me giggle a bit... /giggle... pussy galore... /giggle... OK, I'm done! Application on this one is very easy, three coats for full opacity. It is a very sweet soft color...

Tiffany Case - "A classic light blue worth investigating."
A textured matte metallic light blue with larger blue and silver glitter. This is the only shade in the collection that has the larger glitter. I think because of the glitter it seemed more textured and grittier than the rest, but not in a bad way. It is absolutely gorgeous and the sparkle is something that can't be captured properly in photos. It stained my nails a bit, but the whitening toothpaste trick worked well to remove the stain. I would definitely recommend a base coat with this one. Two coats for full coverage and application is very nice...

Vesper - "A mysterious and intriguing deep purple."
A dark plum jelly base packed with black glitter. I used three coats to build up full opacity with the glitter and ensure no bald spots, especially along the tips. Although you can see the purple base when applying the first coat, at full opacity it appears black. The application very easy, as the rest of the shades in this collection. The sparkle in this is wonderful...

Honey Ryder - "Take a ryde on the wild side in this shimmery gold."
A matte textured champagne gold foil. This reminds me of scrunched up Almond Roca wrappers. The formula is great, you can almost get away with just one coat because it is so pigmented, but I did use two for my manicure...

Jinx - "This mesmerizing matte coral has lucky sparkle"
A matte textured coral orange with gold shimmer. The photos of this pale in comparison to reality. It is a slightly deeper orange in real life with a lot of gold sparkle. I'm wearing this for the third day in a row as I type this post and for me that in itself is saying a lot. I love the way it catches the light! Two easy to apply coats for full coverage...
